Guitars as any other produce are always under the weight of fashion. Every year we may observe some new models of guitars which have got new sound features and fashionable design. Electric guitars are considered to be universal with no particular national signs. Mostly, but not certainly. In spring 2008 Ibanez introduced the newest collection of guitars that is actually prominent.
Any guitar developer has got its own traditions and most of them prefer manufacturing guitars that are similar to their classic forms and characteristics. For instance, Epiphone, Gibson and Fender perform the same, but not Ibanez guitars. No doubt, that is the sound which prior of all matters in a guitar instrument, but when the instrument is also a pleasant for the eyes, satisfaction doubles.
When you look at the guitars which were presented as Spring 2008 Special Limited Edition you understand that Ibanez is a Japanese trademark. Keeping to the trademark's sound standards, the new RG and SRX models are also the victory of beauty. Such parts as “Japan black” finish and red fastening make these instruments look truly Japanese. The tender sakura carving prompts a subtle note of something impalpable which you can't clutch but may surely sense.
The first thought which appears in mind when you see modern RGR is “This is made in Japan”. That ninja “weapon”, made for an assassination on stage, is ascetically plain in its appearance but dangerously strong in its sound. This instrument can be compared just with a man who is dressed in black but his pale neck is observed. Having looked at it you won't find any excess part. But it is an assassin.
